One of the documents presented was a combat report of the “Igman” Operational Group of ABiH issued on April 16, 1993, saying that the “Zulfikar” unit was deployed to the Konjic area due to the conflict between HVO and ABiH.

Also, the Prosecution presented an HVO document date May 1993 concerning the crime committed in Trusina, which is charged upon Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic, Nihad Bojadzic and Zulfikar Alispago, former members of “Zulfikar” Squad and Senad Hakalovic, former member of “Neretvica” Brigade.

“Muslim forces attacked Trusina on April 16. According to survivors, the Muslim forces killed 15 civilians. Besides them, they killed seven captured members of the HVO,” said the Prosecutor, reading a part of that document.

At this hearing indictee Salcin told the Trial Chamber that he no longer wanted to be represented by attorney Kerim Celik. Celik then requested the Chamber to release him of his duties. It was explained that the two men did not disagree with each other concerning the Trusina case, but a certain case handled by the Mostar Court.

The Prosecution is due to continue presenting its material evidence on December 24.
